How we handle your information

Last updated: 23 October 2026

This notice explains what personal information Steadyhand Advisory collects through this website, why, and what rights you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.

Who we are

Steadyhand Advisory is a trading name of James Graham, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom, who is the data controller for the information described here. You can contact us about anything in this notice at hello@steadyhandadvisory.co.uk.

What we collect

  • Details you give us in the "Register interest" form: your name, work email, company, role, company size, your organisation's stage of AI adoption, and anything you write about your concerns.
  • Emails you send us, including your email address and the content of your message.
  • Basic technical information that our website host and font provider receive automatically when you visit, such as your IP address and browser type. We don't use this to identify you.

We don't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers on this site.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your details only to reply to you, arrange a conversation, and discuss whether we can help your organisation. Under UK data protection law, our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

We will not add you to a mailing list, send you marketing you haven't asked for, or sell or share your details with anyone for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for up to 12 months from our last contact with you, then delete them. If we go on to work together, we keep the information needed to run and account for that engagement for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct anything that's wrong;
  • ask us to delete your information;

  • ask us to transfer your information to someone else, where that applies.

To use any of these rights, email hello@steadyhandadvisory.co.uk. We'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.
